Legal notice and privacy

Information on the processing of personal data under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Last updated: 28 October 2026.
1. Data controller
Daniele Lantieri, Segrate (MI), Italy, operator of the website danielelantieri.it. Contact for any request, including privacy: mail@danielelantieri.it. No data protection officer (DPO) has been appointed, as one is not required for this website (Art. 37 GDPR).
2. No cookies, no analytics
This website uses no cookies, neither technical nor profiling, and stores nothing in your browser: that is why there is no cookie banner. It collects no visitor statistics, uses no tracking tools and loads nothing from other websites (no third-party scripts, fonts, videos or maps). It has no forms, accounts or restricted areas.
3. What data is processed
Technical browsing data. The website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). When you open a page, Cloudflare’s servers automatically process the technical data of the connection: IP address, date and time of the request, page or file requested, browser and operating system type (user agent), traffic routing data. This is the only data the website processes when you visit it.
Data you send me. If you write to mail@danielelantieri.it, I process your email address and what you write in the message.
4. Purposes and legal basis
- Technical data: delivering the pages and files you request and protecting the website from abuse and attacks. Legal basis: the controller’s legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The controller does not use this data to identify or profile visitors.
- Email messages: replying to your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest in replying to those who write (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your data is not used for advertising or passed on to others.
5. Recipients
Technical data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States), which provides the hosting and acts as processor on behalf of the controller (Art. 28 GDPR). Email messages pass through the domain’s email provider, Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), also a processor. Data is not disclosed to anyone else, except where required by law or by the authorities.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Cloudflare may also process data in the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Cloudflare adheres (Art. 45 GDPR). Should that adherence lapse, Cloudflare states that it uses the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission (Art. 46 GDPR).
7. How long
- Technical data: the controller does not download or keep visit logs. Cloudflare keeps them for as long as needed to run and protect the service, according to its own privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy), and then deletes or anonymises them.
- Email messages: for as long as the conversation requires and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last message exchanged, unless needed for longer to defend a right.
8. Your rights
At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to mail@danielelantieri.it. I will reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, garanteprivacy.it (Art. 77 GDPR). There is no automated decision-making or profiling (Art. 22).
