Daniele Lantieri

My story

I was born in Milan on 25 April 1978 and grew up in Segrate, where I still live.

Education. I started at a classical high school, then realised my path ran through technology. In 1998 I graduated as an IT and electronics technician from the Marie Curie technical institute in Cernusco sul Naviglio. I spent some time at the Politecnico di Milano: university mostly taught me that I learn best by doing.

Building systems. I grew up inside a building services company founded in 1977. Since 1999 I have worked with KNX®, the standard for professional home and building automation, which became one of my specialities. In 2006 I opened my own sole proprietorship, and in 2008 I set up LantierImpianti SNC, where I am a managing partner. Since 2012 the two of us have run it, my mother Egle Maria Villa and I; she is a managing partner too and looks after administration and workplace safety. It is a small company: I handle both the technical and the commercial side, with a long-standing colleague and a network of trusted tradespeople.

Today we work on electrical and plumbing systems, air conditioning, geothermal energy, KNX home automation and server rooms. Our work has been covered by the trade magazines Elettro, GT and TIS, and in 2023 by the Italian TV show Le Iene, in a debate on the ELess heating control system.

Food waste disposers. In 2026 LantierImpianti became an InSinkErator® Premium Installer and authorised service centre for Milan and its province. On behalf of RiEko, the official Italian distributor, we carry out home service visits. Through dissipatorealimentare.it we sell the full InSinkErator range throughout Italy, install it, and take care of notifying the water utility and registering the extended warranty.

NLP. In 2004 a free one-day event linked to the book Il coach introduced me to Neuro-Linguistic Programming. The first manual I read was Unlimited Power by Tony Robbins. That was the start of a long, passionate journey: the Practitioner course with Claudio Belotti, which I attended with my mother, then Unleash the Power Within® in London, where I was on the crew for a few years, and Date With Destiny® in Palm Springs.

I studied both major schools of NLP: Richard Bandler’s, with Extraordinary, and Tad James’s, with Francesco Pellegatta. In 2015 I studied Spiral Dynamics® in depth with Christopher Cowan and Natasha Todorovic. I hold certifications from both the American Board of NLP and the Association for Integrative Psychology (AIP), up to my NLP Trainer certificate in 2017.

I don’t teach NLP: I use it, at work and in life, and I coach only pro bono.

The books. In 2026 I wrote Codice sorgente, an NLP manual in two volumes: the book I wish I had found in Italian when I started. The free resources that go with the books are on riprogrammarsi.it.
